Hi,
As little I know of Jedburgh is mainly to do with the kirk or cathedral which was taken on by the Scottish National Trust, so forgive me but I would not know which parish would now have these records.
Have you tried Scotlands People site?  Did it not give you anything at all. There are a number of Douglas families in and around Edinburgh as well as Perth and Aberdeen.  You could try the link for the Historic family research for Aberdeen and area.  Unless someone can help with this on here.

Hi Marcie

Jedburgh is in Roxburghshire - Allan has put it on the correct board.

I've checked SP and don't see them in Jedburgh or Roxburghshire

What religion where the parents, Allan?

Considering that my grandparents came from Edinburgh and Glasgow, I really think I should get a map of the areas surrounding these two cities dont you.?

Apologies, but I could not place Jedburgh, although I have been passed it on my way up the east coast.

If they were C of England - Episcopalian, they wouldn't be in the usual records. The C of Scotland was Presbyterian.
