This is my first post on Rootschat, hoping that somebody can help.
I have traced my line back to 1796, George Bruce, born 1796 in Kelso, married Elizabeth Yule b.1803 or thereabouts, in Earlston. Both later married and lived in Gordon, as farmers.
Georges mothers Maiden name was Rae.
I am looking for more information concerning this couples ancestry, also whether George is related to the James mentioned in another thread here (B.1791).
