Hi my name is oimchan and I was trying to find my family tree I posted about 4 years ago when I came across your request. I thought you might be interested to know I am connected to the Pilcher family and my gr grandmother was Elizabeth Ann Pilcher which of course makes George Sims my gr grandfather. I have a great deal of information you may be interested in. Also photographs of George and Elizabeth and Georges parents Richard Sims and Jane Brann I also have a picture of Jane Brann's father. I have info going back to 1689 on the Sims family/1648 on the Brann family and abt 1760 on the Pilcher line I also have info on Mary File who married Thomas Pilcher in 1813. Would you be interested in any of this?

Hi,
I see that you have been researching the Pilcher family. I wonder if you may be able to help. I have An Elizabeth Pilcher who married a Robert Matson in 1781 -
Canterbury Marriage licences 10th November 1781
Robert Matson of Swingfield aged 40 yeoman bachelor and Eliz. Pilcher spinster of the same parish aged 30.
They had 3 children, Elizabeth Robert and Mary.
I'm stuck at a brick wall and can't find either Robert or Elizabeths' parents.
I wonder if Elizabeth may have been related to your Pilcher family?
