Tallon, Annagh
« on: Sunday 05 September 10 16:30 BST (UK) »
My first time here,
I am looking for baptism and marriage records for my family. I have found them in the  1901 and 1911 census living on corporation lands, in the parish Annagh.
My ancestor James born abt 1858 had 9 children.
Which is the best place to look for these Parish records?
What is the significance of living on Corporation lands? and I read that the Borough Corporations had been abolished decades earlier.
Is there any way to find the death record so a certificate can be ordered?
Thanks in advance.
regards
Michael

Corporation Lands is the name of the townland. See www.thecore.com/seanruad to find townlands in Ireland. Annagh is the civil parish- the religious (R.C.) parish boundaries and name might be different.
