Yes, it says Army P which is an "official" abbreviation http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~somtcen/1841instructions.html

His age, however, is given as 55, not 65 that you implied.

Thanks for that. I think he was born abt 1784 (which makes the 55) correct (this is from Family Search and FreeReg) but for some reason I thought 1841 less 55 was 1776, which of course it wasn't!

I had got all of those, but from FreeReg, glad to see it's the same on Family Search. I do think the Hagworthingham marriage is right - I also got that from FreeReg.
