After studying the Oakland Tribune, I find Eleanor Wheatley seems to have been married X3! William Kusserow, (she went back to America in 1939. leaving him in Switzerland where he was studying chemistry) Mr Moore, she was mentioned as “Mrs. Eleanor Moore” in the notice of Noah’s funeral, and as Eleanor Sullivan on the Weald site.
http://theweald.org/N10.asp?NId=23031872 Also, in the interview with Mrs. Wheatley, it says, “Mique and his younger brother left their farm home in Sussex, England after their farther died. Mique was 14”. This is wrong, because (Noah) Mique came from Beckenham Kent, but it is an understandable error, as his farther was also Noah and was from Sussex. Noah was the founder of Mothers cookies in America. The younger brother I would think was Herbert, as he also went to Canada (according to the Weald, he died in British Columbia) but, and here is the Twist, they were sent out as under,
In the 1890's Alexander Duncan and Carrie Taylor too in two boys, Herbert and Noah Wheatley, from the Dr. Barnardo Home in England. These British Home Children were sent out to farms to help with the chores and other work until they turned 18. Herbert Wheatley came to Canada when he was 13 years old arriving in 1890 on the S.S. Circassian from Liverpool 19 June 1890 arriving in Quebec 30 June 1890. Grace Joyce had the small wooden box given to the Barnardo children for their possessions which had belonged to Herbert. After many years of searching she was finally able to return it to his family who were living in British Columbia. Noah Wheatley went to Oakland, California.

First, I wonder what happened to William Kusserow?
And, can anybody help with the Noah/brother mystery (sailing on different ships and dates)?
