That Newton where Claude was born would be Newton Bromswold.

Robinson's shoe factory used to be at 67 Roberts Street- but as hubby has just told me,there aren't any there now

Thanks for your reply,yes i know about the rushden heritage site,its very good,lots of good info on there.

I suppose alot of the old factories have been knocked down or made into flats.next time i drive through rushden will have to take a look around.
