Lookup Marriage of Robert Fill To Elizabeth Vant 13 October 1829
in OTTERDEN, KENT, ENGLAND.

I am trying to get further back on this family line  and would like to know whether the parents are recorded and any other information such as witnesses.

Interesting that there is an Elizabeth Vant  and  Robert Fill on the new familysearch record search both born in Westwell around 1804, will check this out.

Looks like they ran off together!!

Came to New Zealand on The ship Lady Nugent ;

Seems consistant with Roberts and Elizabeths ages of Death in NZ.

I have not got their death Certificates.

Trying to get Robert Fills parents and Elizabeths Parents and their siblings in Westwell, Kent.

Hi Chris ,
            Are you in touch with any living Vants in UK ? When I was last at Stalisfield  Vants had their own Farm between my Uncles at Derbies Court and my cousins at Green Farm. Stalisfield which borders and is a shared Parish with Otterden .

PS Looking at the 1841 census for Westwell, it would suggest from the ages shown, that Roberts Parents were David and Sarah Fill Definitely Sarah not Mary on copy of actual Sheet.
Elizabeths Parents Henry and Ann are at Otterden on 1841 .
Which would explain why Marriage was at Otterden.

looking at the record search I think you will find that Robert Fill's mother died at his birth and his father married a Sarah can't remember her surname, thats why Sarah is on the 41
