Hi

I noticed that you may be able to check and photograph a grave at the above cemetary and so wondered when you had a spare moment if you could look for the following:

Edwin (Edward) Warner - buried 15/08/1918
Square 225 Number 159 at London Road Cemetery
Not sure who he is with and that would be interesting too.

and

Hannah Smith - buried 18/07/1871
Square - 139 - Grave 7 - Book 3/116 - Purchaser - John Smith (son)

Also looking for the following Coventry burial information, which may be at London Road:

John Smith (son of Hannah) died Mar Q 1900 in Coventry - hopefully in London Road
James Thompson, born abt 1788, living in St Michaels Coventry, died between 1851 and 1861, also his wife Ann Thompson, born abt 1787, died between 1851 and 1861.  Can you spot those?
Elizabeth Elson - born abt 1832 died Jun Q 1917
John Thompson - born abt 1820 died Dec Q 1896
Henry Thompson - born abt 1824 died Sep 1871
James Thompson born 1810 died Sep Q 1868

Can you help with any of those?

Thanks in advance.

TB

Hi TB
can you tell me where you got your information on Edward Warner? I cant seem to find him on my disc! There is only 1 waner in square 225 and he is a baby called Frederick. Could the name have been miss spelled? If so what are the variations?

Here is what I have found for you

Thanks DeniseJo

I look forward to reviewing that information.

I got the information on Edward directly from Coventry Council who were surprisungly extremely helpful.  His name was sometimes recorded as Edwin although always appeared to be Warner.  The burial date that they provided also tied in with the death certificate that i obtained - what a mystery!

When I go to the Cemetery I will check the square and grave number you gave me for Edward and see what is there  :)

Thanks DeniseJo

The other grave info that you provided is proving incredibly helpful.  Thankyou.

The John Smith Pauper is likely to be incorrect as i think you have found him in the grave above with his mother Hannah.

Let me know if you need assistance with Nuneaton, Attleborough or Bedworth burials or Leicestershire burials as i have reference disks for those.

Kind regards

TB
