I am looking for the marriage of a Samuel Waters (B 1786 Middleton Cheney) to an Elizabeth ?.
Elizabeth was born circa 1796 in Horton and they had their 1st child - Thomas in 1821 - who was born at Middleton Cheney where Samuel came from.
I am looking for
1. date of the marriage
2. Elizabeth's maiden name.
3. Any indication of Samuels parents names.
I have checked the Middleton Cheney PR's - no luck.

Samuel Waters marrying Elizabeth Taylor 27th December 1813 in Horton.

Been into Oxford library - Found the marriage of Samuel and Elizabeth but it looks like Toby beat me to it. The marriage record was actually in the Parish Records of Horley. It was by Banns, both signed their names with an X as did their witnesses John Taylor and Ann Taylor.

I did find a Elizabeth Taylor baptism on April 17th 1796 daughter of Robert Taylor and Ann Wilson. If this is the correct Elizabeth, did you know she was actually a twin, her sister was called Ann?

There was a brother of Elizabeth and Ann, called John baptised March 1792.

Middleton Cheney comes under Northamptonshir so could not check the records for Samuel

 Oh now that is good, thank you very much indeed. I did not know Elizabeth was apparently a twin - brilliant.
