Hi,

Anyone know where Walterstown is in Wicklow. My greatgrandmother is listed as been born here in about 1866 on the 1911 census. I can't find anything about it. Anyone know where to start, her name was Anne Byrne (which i know was a very popular name then).

Walterstown is listed under Hollywood Parish in Griffith's Valuation.

Listed in 1901 and 1911 census under Hollywood D.E.D.

The townland of Walterstown is located about 4km to the east of Hollywood, Co. Wicklow.

It's not shown on Google maps, but is between Slievecorragh and Lockstown Lower. See : Hollywood, Slievecorragh, Lockstown Lower  (Walterstown is located about half way between the B and C markers)
