Could you please provide any details about Charles H Johnson, born in Hanley c.1828,

1871 census info is:

11 peel street , 43, widower, railway porter.
children:
mary elizabeth 18

charles edward 12
arthur 6

checked fenton/stoke/penkull not there, when did they get married it usually has place they resided at when they got married.

It is very strange that they weren't there. As the children were born in Stoke on Trent from 1853 on.

I can't tell you anything about the marriage as that was the information I was hoping to gain from 1861 census. Charles was widowed by 1871.
I was also hoping to find information about his family of origin from the earlier census's as all I know is that he was born in Hanley c.1828.

these are from the 1851, do you know when charles got married looked on staffs bmd there is two, one with elizabeth and the other must have been entered wrong he was getting married to a man,

this could be your charles living with his brother sorry the only one there.
