Hello I am looking for information about Mary Clark (born approx 1759-died 1809 Rye Sussex) She married Henry Clark of Rye in 1781 in Dover. The question had been why and how did they meet and I think the answer was they were both Methodists.
Found this book The Record of the Wesleyan Methodists in the Sevenoaks Circuit by Walter T. Judd Epworth Press 1932 Not available on the west coast of US Would love to know the towns in Kent where Wesleyan Chapels met before 1781.
