can you tell me what significance the following is on a birth record
No 1 N/E City of Cork or sometimes numbers as 0911, Midleton Cork

the 0911 sounds like a page reference included in some of the extracted civil records on familysearch. This usually appear on the location/address line, but can sometime appear on a separate reference line.

If you search for the same name on the civil index you should see a corresponding record with the same page reference along with the full details need to order a cert from the GRO

The other details such as the '1 N/E City of Cork' are usually registrars districts, which are a sub-division within registration districts.
