1901 census lookup belfast
« on: Tuesday 12 May 09 20:38 BST (UK) »
Hello:
Does anyone have access to the 1901 CENSUS for BELFAST who could do lookups?

I am looking for a Margaret(ta) MILLAR who was born in Belfast in 1874 whose mother was also name Margaret(ta) Millar.  The younger Margaret may have had sisters or cousins name Jennie and Sarah born about the same time.
I am hoping to find the elder Margaret in the 1901 census as I believe she was still alive then. Her husband was Robert Millar, If she wasn't a widow by then. There were 2 wills probated in Belfast after 1901.
        (1) Margaret Millar lived at 1 BrookhillAve, Belfast inn1907
        (2) another Margaret Millar lived in Ballybeg in 1901
Thank you kindly

Going through old threads and came across your post at the end of someone else's which is probably why it was never answered.
The 1901 and 1911 census are both now online.

There's a Margaretta Millar living at Brookhill Ave. in 1901- she's a widow and has a son (transcribed as Sarah O!)- name is hard to read on scanned image-

Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
