Just checked the Sussex Marriage Index, there are no further details, but here is the entry -

Place: Rye, East Sussex,  Date: 23 May 1813:
Subject: John FRENCH
Spouse: Martha KEMP
 
OK... now this is getting spooky  :o my maiden name is Kemp and my main line of research is the Kemp family from Sussex! I haven't found any in Rye so far... but... but... oooh, I think I need a coffee!
