Hello

I came across this yesterday and hope it might be of interest.

Go to this site and click on the red Search button near the top left of the page (right after the the large blue AAD logo) - this will bring you to a search page - there are these headings above the search area

All Series 
People 
Indexes to Other Records 


Click on the People option without entering any other data yet

You will now see a page titled

List Series That Identify People

Scroll down the page to near the bottom, you will see an entry labelled

Title: Records for Passengers Who Arrived at the Port of New York During the Irish Famine, 1977 - 1989
Creator:Balch Institute for Ethnic Studies. Center for Immigration Research. 
Level of Description: Series from Collection CIR: Center for Immigration Research Collection


Click on this entry and you will now come to a preliminary search screen where you can choose to search by the person's name or by the ships name. I found it interesting to search by a person's name - you can use wildcard entries as well.

The records are for records of Irish immigrants to the US in the years of

Coverage Dates:  1/12/1846 - 12/31/1851
