Stuck - BUDDREY
« on: Friday 15 October 10 19:13 BST (UK) »
On John Buddrey, married to Elizabeth.

I have their daughter, Hannah, born 1709 in Lingwood, Norfolk and died in 1786.   Hannah married John Manthorpe who was born in 1716 and died in 1786.

I have looked on Family Record Search and Family Record Search Beta but cannot see a wife he is meant to have had, Elizabeth, or Hannah listed among Children on there.

Much appreciated in advance.

Is it the marriage of John Buddrey and Elizabeth you're stuck with?

The only birth, marriage and death records I can find on Familysearch for Hanah are submitted by a member/s of the LDS church, which unfortunately are notoriously unreliable. Not all parish records are available on the site so it might be a better bet to post your query on the Norfolk board, someone may have the info for you.

Good luck!  :)

Hello Mummykins

I found this entry on family search, maybe a spelling error.
John Budree married Elizabeth Bonn at St. Julian, Norwich, Norfolk on
the 25 April 1687.
It could be yours.

Using pilot family search there is a John Buddery marrying an Elizabeth Briggs 3 Aug 1707 in Burlingham St Andrew, Norfolk which is probably more likely as Lingwood is a neighbouring parish.
I personally find the pilot site more useful in taking into account spelling variations, although it often does not behave consistently.
Burlingham St Andrew parish registers are available online, but I am not sure how complete they are.

Hi there,  I am really stuck on the Buddery family.  I have Thomas Buddery with Rachel but I cant find who Rachel is anywhere.  They had their children in Sidestrand and North Walsham. The first child was born in 1744. Can anyone help please.  Julie
