Hi everyone

I am trying to discover more info re the marriage of John Williamson to Mary Towe at Coleorton on 27/11/1792 . Does anyone have access to these records & also the records for the births of any children after this date.

Only confirmation of your dates & Names are  correct
And it was by Banns.
We need to check out the original Register
to see if any other details are given…

With regards to Baptisms…

St: John the Baptist & Mary the Virgin Parish Church. Coleorton .
ALL below with Parents John & Mary Williamson.

1794. Ann. …..Bapt. 30th. April.

1797  Sarah.   Bapt. …29th. January.

1780.  John. ……Bat. .20th. July.


1818.    Joseph. ….Bapt. 14th. June.

1818.  Mary. …Bapt. 14th. June.

During the gaps there was several Burials of Williamson 
But NO Parents named or ages given..

So there could be several more Children to John & Mary. ….

Thanks for that information. Unfortunately, it looks as though they are not the correct family but were the only John/Mary I could find who might have fitted the bill by having a son named James born at Measham, Leics in 1816.

Is it possible for you to check the births at Measham around this date & see if there were any more children born to a John/Mary in that area?
