Where is Grove Hall, Wicklow

Hi,

I have a document with a Joseph Mills listed in 1826 living in Grove Hall, Wicklow. Does anyone know where this or how do i find out?

According to an item on google book from 'The Byrnes and the O'Byrnes Vol 2' By Daniel Byrne-Rothwell, Ballinderry house was known in some US based pedigrees as Grove Hall.  See : link to page 180

The house is located in the townland of Ballinderry to the north-west of Rathdrum town - see OSI maps Ballinderry House  (see the historic 6" or 25" maps, it's also shown on the modern OSI map)

Hi Shane,

I see you are interested in the names Mills and King in Wicklow. I have the following on Mills in Wicklow.
Henrietta Mills married Matthew Carroll don’t know when, but Children born in Wicklow were:
Louis born c 1854, Anne c 1864, and George c 1865. Are they helpful for your research?

Thomas King born April 1866 at Slackport Slyne Head, a Lighthouse Keeper in Wicklow, married Mary Murphy and had children Leo, Matthew, Bernie, Joseph, Vincent and Kathleen. Do these names mean anything to you?

Hi Julia,

Unfortunately I cannot seem to get your Mills matched with mine. I will give you a shout if I can match yours to mine.

My Mills are all from Rathdrum area of Wicklow going back to the 1740's and up till the 1870's when they sold the land to Charles Stewart Parnell.
