Great and Little Bourton

Are the registers for Great and Little Bourton held at Oxford or are they somewhere else?

From my (old - 2006) copy of the OFHS Parish Register and Bishop's Transcripts booklet:

Great Bourton was a chapelry of Cropedy until 1872.

Parish Registers for baptisms 1863 - 1973, marriages 1872 - 1978 and Banns 1864 - 1953 are held by ORO.   Burials appear to still be in the care of the church.

There would appear to be transcripts for baptisms 1863 - 1995, marriages 1872 - 1995 & burials 1864 - 1993 (indexed) held by ORO, OFHS and a number of other organisations.

There is a note to the effect that for earlier records see Cropedy.

Little Bourton - see Cropedy (or Great Bourton after 1872).

For information, the transcripts for both Cropedy and Great Bourton (on the same CD) are available on the OFHS website.
