ships list query

can someone please tell me what F S means when written against occupation on a ships list
probably something obvious once you know it  ;D

I think it may mean female servant or fish seller
Brown, Twizell, Storey & fenwick  from Northumberland, Parkinson, from Lincolnshire, Kelly, Kinsella  & Mcguire from Ireland. Mellor originally from Derbyshire, Allens from Norfolk and Jackson originally from Sutton Coldfield.

F.S. on census returns certainly refers to Female Servant so I would presume the same use was made for ships lists.

Could be farm servant but anything we say will really be just a guess.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
