1841 Census Look Up Please

Looking for William Hinchcliff(e) born 1817 in Skelmanthorpe.  Possibly living in Dewsbury.  Possibly has a wife called Mary at this time.

I get 4 results on my subscription site, Ancestry but ELEVEN results on a free search of FindMyPast 

If anyone can find a likely candidate I'd appreciate the piece, folio and page number.

The only William, of the right age, living in Dewsbury is William Hincliffe living with Sarah Hincliffe (age 55).

TNA Reference HO107, Piece 1269, Book/Folio 4/40 Page 14.
That's in Batyfor, Mirfield.

According to the IGI William was baptised September 8th 1817 at Skelmanthorpe Wesleyan (born June 1st )

His Parents were JOSEPH and MARY nee Field

This may help in finding him in 1841 , if he was not married.

Maybe William is living in one of the other areas on FindMyPast list of Hinchclifffes.

William  on 1851  but  was dead by 1861 Mary was widow then.

Hi Philip

This sounds hopeful as he is a tallow chandler in 1851, but what page number is on the census?  I put HO107/1323/1 and got some Hinchcliffe's in Cawthorne but can't find Denby Dale on the info you gave me.

Can't see any mention of Denby Dale, but whatever a mighty big thank you Philip, I believe this is my man!

Eureka!  After sitting there looking at the handwriting and saying 'Skilman Sharp' and looking at google maps and drawing a blank, I thought does that second word say 'Thorp'?  Skilman Thorp, Skilman Thorp ....  oh you DOPE its SKELMANTHORPE which is EXACTLY right
