1891 look up plz

Hi all

I have found a marriage on freebmd for Maria potter and George Frymer taylor in Steyning Sept 1883, i wondered if any body could look on the 1891 census to see if maria was born in sompting at about 1864, so i can see if this a match..

Hi Laura
In 1891 there is a Maria Taylor in Hove age 27 and her husband has been transcribed as ?troy Freeman Taylor b Rye Sx.The transcriber must have made it up as he/she went along because the original image is unreadable apart from "Taylor"
Howeveron looking at the 1901 cencus he is George F taylor 'Here is the full entry

I have 1891 which is very faint but just decipherable as-
George Frymer Taylor HEAD 26   Labourer b.Rye
Maria Taylor WIFE 27 b.Sompting.
George SON ?6
Henry SON ?5
William SON ?11 months all born Hove.
Address is Hove .Street having trouble reading but will keep trying if you think this is the family.

Quite interesting that next door to your family are listed Jane Patter 67 and William Patter 71 both from Sompting. Have looked at original image and it is Potter not Patter. Possibly Maria's parents ?
