1857 Baptism Wingate - COMPLETED

I have a death cert for Ralph Hepplewhite Hodgson who died at Wingate on 25 Feb 1858, age 1 1/2 years.

It is a strange way of expressing an age and the only registration seems to be June quarter 1857, which would make him less than 1 year old.

Can anyone find a baptism at Wingate please? The mother would be Sarah whose husband was Robert who may not be mentioned.

Thanks for finding him Trish. So, his birth doesn't seem to have been registered! 
At least, the baptism shows that father Robert is still around which is what I'm trying to establish, and this is a very big help

Thanks for the offer Trish, but we know that.

In 1879 Robert is in New Zealand where he re-marries and claims to be a bachelor and to have been there for 9 years. It is now almost certain that the one we are looking at is the same Robert, and the childrens records might give a clue as to when he is absent. Then I have to find out what happened to Sarah.
