Very sorry to read that this was not the Jeremiah that you were looking for, the Jeremiah that I posted was the only Jeremiah on the Assisted, Unassisted and Outward Passenger Index that came remotely close to the surname that you are researching, so maybe your Jeremiah arrived in Australia via another State. If so you will need to check passenger lists in each state, links can be found on the Australia Resources Board.
I had a very quick look at the various Victorian Index of Births, Deaths and Marriages from 1836 - 1985 (Have not checked marriages for children).
