Mount Pleasant, Garston.
« on: Tuesday 02 November 10 13:21 GMT (UK) »
Hi everybody,I'm new to this site and am currently researching several branches of family (too many perhaps, as I'm not too useful with computers) and while while looking for the above address (which I Googled!) I found it on a previous post from June this year.
I don't have any experience in geneaology, so please excuse any errors!
The main name I was researching is Davies, however I had an address for an 'in-law' if you like, their name was Simpson, living at 6 Mount Pleasant, Garston, Liverpool in 1911. When I checked the thread, I saw info regarding number 8, along with a reference to the very people I was seeking!
A member mentioned a photograph she had,and I wonder if I could get in touch with her?
Hope this makes sense. thanks, Tom.

Hi Red Tom, welcome to Rootschat!

I guess it is this thread that you are referring to http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,361249.15.html
if so, you can find the member that you wish to contact, and send them a personal message by clicking on the scroll thing under their name.

You need to have made three posts to use the personal messaging system, so if you reply (twice!) to this message (don't have to say anything useful on it) then you will be good to go!

Give a yell if you get into difficulties and someone will be able to sort you out

Hi Red Tom,

I've moved this to Lancashire and sent a PM to the poster on the old thread.  Hopefully they will see it and reply to your post.

Hi Allan, thanks for your help, it's probably obvious that I'm new to all of this , both geneaology and forum use! I've posted a message on Yo! Liverpool for you which should explain things, as there was a bit of a muddle looming on the horizon but all has worked out I hope!Am I right in assuming you are a 'Marriner'?!!, tell them we said hello next time you're in there!. Thanks again Allan,  cheers for now Tom.
