Hi,Iam searching for any information on Constance Irene Lawrence Biott b.1902 Carlin How,Yorkshire, daughter of Bernard Joseph Lawrence and Elizabeth Biott who married Smith Hanson,b.1898 in Silsden,son of Charles Hanson  in 1922,Silsden,West Riding and lived all her life in Silsden,until her passing in 1983.Also if possible anything on Smith Hanson and his family.All help greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Hi Heywood,
                   Many thanks for the reply,info and welcome.Have without success tried to find if Constance and Smith Hanson had children and i would like to know one way or the other if they did.My grandmother,sister and other relatives never knew of Constance and i  only came about her by luck on Bernard Joseph Lawrence's service record.On Constances death cert it listed her sister in law Mary Hanson as the informant.Also trying to locate the marriage of Smith Hansons father,Charles,b.1861 in Silsden and a Elizabeth born in Montgomeryshire,Wales.Thanky you.

there don't seem to be any Hanson children with a mother Biott in the indexes so looks like they had no children.

The birthplace is difficult to read. Looking at places in Montgomeryshire - there is this entry - Pen-y-foel : Llanymynech

The birth certificate of one of the children would give you the mother's maiden name.

Hello again,
                  Many thanks for your prompt reply and info.Will follow your advice and get the birth cert. of Smith Hanson and from that with the mothers maiden name, locate the parents marriage.Have a feeling it could be in Wales in the wife's birth place.
