There is also a marriage on the IGI at Rumburgh 18th April 1814
Mary Ann Alexander and Samuel Martin.

I only pointed this out as when searching Rumburgh records this was the only other 'Alexander' I could see - I wondered if it was Williams mother remarrying   Just a thought

William Wells Alexander s/o William & Mary Alexander born 16 Oct 1814 bpt 23 Oct 1814 Rumburgh.

Siblings: John Wells Alexander born 26 July 1813 Bpt 2 Aug 1813, George born 29 Dec 1815 bpt 31 Dec 1815 & Maria  born 16 April 1817 bpt 16 Apr 1817.  There is a note against Maria's entry 'of St Elmham All Saints'.   It also notes 'shopkeeper'.  Couldn't see anything immediately either side of these dates for that family in Rumburgh but there was also an entry for Jacob Henry Lincoln Alexander s/o Henry & Susan born 30 Sep 1816 Bpt 3 Oct 1816.

William married Mary Ann Wells 5 Oct 1812 at Rumburgh both otp. Witnesses Henry Alexander & James King.
