Hi just found the christening of John Poynton:-

John Orde Poynton b 9/4/1906 c 16/5/1906 Westminster Father Frederick John Poynton Mother Alice Constance.

Also with a Scottish workmate looking over my shoulder, he said that Orde was a well known surname either Orde or Ord, so I searched the 1881 Scottish Census and found:-
