Matthew Nugent born c1828
William Nugent born c1831

All born in GLASGOW according to the 1841/1851 English Census to  MATTHEW NUGENT...born c 1791  Armagh, Ireland.... occupation ....SHOEMAKER              and BRIDGET ? also born Armagh, c 1796

Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea where abouts in Glasgow, so I presume it will be like looking for that needle in the haystack, but if anybody can help at all, I would be most grateful.             Anne.

Annie - have a look on Scotlands People, Catholic Parish Register- Births;  Glasgow City, St Andrews Parish.

There are several children there born to Mathew (or Matthew)  NUGENT and Bridget BURK (or BURKIE) around your dates. 

Not such a needle as I think Nugent is an uncommon name in Glasgow at this time.
