G'day Chatters,

I am hoping to locate information on the above family.
What I have at present is Elizabeth HARWOOD born 1830 at Donacholay, County Down, Ireland to a father called William and Sophia.

Elizabeth married Robert BECKETT 1 Oct 1852 Lower Seagoe Parish of Seagoe Armagh, Ireland before immigrating to Australia in 1853.

Both parents were recoded as being dead in 1853 as per shipping details.

If these are the Donaghcloney Harwoods, there was a major discussion about Adamsons and Harwoods some time ago.  The Adamson man asking was from Australia.  I don't think the discussion went back in time as far as your Elizabeth, but John Harwood m Mary McCourt  and son William John Harwood m. Elizabeth Moore were involved. Have you heard of them?

At this point in time the names that you quoted do not mean much, but we will see.
