I have recently started to trace my family and have managed to get back to 1795 has any one got information on the Hubble family who appear to come from the Kent area.

The only Hubble surname in my tree is Susannah Hubble who had three illegitimate children in Yalding, Kent, England. My link is via Susannah's daughter Sophia Hill Hubble baptised on 15 Feb 1784 in Yalding, Kent, England.

Susannah was buried in Yalding in 1797 aged 40. This suggests Susannah was the Susannah Hubble (Hubbel) born in <Hadlow, Kent, England> to Thomas & Elizabeth Hubble (Hubbel) and baptised on 15 May 1757 in Hadlow, Kent, England.

A Thomas Hubble married Elizabeth Blake on 04 Jul 1743 in Aylesford, Kent, England

Hello,

i have a Donald Charlton Hubble marrying my Lily Spain OBrien sept quart 1937 in Elham.

She was the daughter of William Spain and Lily Matthews born 1910 Clapham Hill,Whitstable,died 1994 Whitstable,buried next to her father.A bit confusing but William Spain often used his mothers surname of OBrien.

I dont have much on Donald yet,but will be researching him further when i can afford birth and marriage certs.I know he was born in Maidstone district 23/05/1911 and died in Greenwich in 1974.

He and Lily had one son that i can find,David C T Hubble registered in Bromley in 1939.

Id be intrested if youve heard of him,or in any general info on Hubbles,

Is there any particular point where you are stuck with the HUBBLEs?  Is so, do post what you know for sure and perhaps somebody can advise or even help you to find somthing.
