Scarborough Marriage lookup?

Hi

I wonder if any one is able to do a marriage look up for Scarborough? The couple in question are Mary Dobson and William Metcalfe. They married 3Q of 1871. I have the GRO details but money is a bit tight at the moment so I really can not justify spending money on a certificate (unfortunately!!)

Any help will be very, very much appreciated.

you can't 'look up' marriages from a GRO reference....only order a copy certificate.  You need to know the church to look at parish registers.  But all is not lost, found this record which at least give names of their fathers.

William METCALFE age 26, year of birth 1845 married Mary DOBSON age 22 year of birth 1849 in Scarborough on 3rd July 1871.

His father Thomas and her father William.
