Glamorgan FHS have published an index of Memorial Inscriptions for the graveyard at Capel y Gwrhyd Independent Chapel

There is a book History of y Gwrhyd by Joshua Lewis, Penydderi, Llangiwg in 1897.

There is an English index on Genuki for Llangiwg which mentions some people of Gwrhyd:

You may be able to get the book from the library or second hand bookshop
