Zoebeli/Zorbeli - Dover Birth

Hi,

I've got a Mary Zoebeli/Zorbeli who was born on 18th Feb 1850 in Dover. She late married William Frank Henry Revill in 1887.

However, there is no GRO entry for a birth in Dover during 1850. Has anybody come across this family in Dover around this period?

Do you have any details from her marriage ie. are you sure she wasn't a widow?
A quick look at the 1881 census and http://www.freebmd.org.uk/ has me wondering if she's Mary WOOD who married Swiss born John Conrad Zoebeli (he died 1883)?

Hi Casalguidi,

I think I committed one of the cardinal sins of family history research and not check all spelling posibilities. After your input I've now found Mary and John under Zoebeli, Zoebili and Zasbili. I must do better next time!!
