I have scant information on them, so they are a large brick wall. If anyone can help, would be much appreciated

Humble, Edward b. cir 1780, d. be 1841 census (it may very well be that he was born in England, but I really have no clue)
married 24 Jul 1802 North Leith, Midlothian, Scotland
Morton, Margaret b. cir 1781 East Lothian, d. aft 1841 census (I think she emigrated to NZ with her daughter Isabella Humble & s.i.l Michael Quin, and have her buied in a Wellington cemetery, but no date)

Michael Quin is in North Berwick, East Lothian in 1841. He's a blacksmith,25, & his place of birth is given as Ireland. I see there are a few public family trees on  the ancestry website. In one of them Michael's d.o.b. is quoted as 20 Oct 1811. He married on 12 Jan 1840 in Haddington, & died in Wellington 20 Oct 1892.

Flst - sorry you researched what I already had, BUT it helps confirm for me that the person I think matches Michael Quin on the 1841 census is most likely indeed him, as you came to the same conclusion as I did  thank you.

Hi sancti, I don't think that this is the correct Margaret Morton. She appears in 1841, in Society.  The other Margaret is in Haddington in 1841.In her other post ecochicnz says she thinks Margaret emigrated to New Zealand with her daughter,son in law & grandchild. she states they emigrated in 1842.
