1861 & 1871 Census Lookup Please - Completed Thanks

Please could someone lookup Maria Fletcher who was born in Clarborough, Notts abt 1829 (her parents Vincent & Mary Fletcher). 

She seems to have disappeared after the 1851 census but I know she was alive in Mar 1876 when her father mentions he in his WILL.  I have looked for a marriage for her but haven't found a suitable one that fit's!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,

When was the will dated? She may have been mentioned but then died or emigrated etc.
There is a younger daughter, Mary - could there be confusion with the names in the will?
Have you checked the marriage on Free BMD - 1854 Maria Fletcher East Retford?
Unfortunately, there is a bridegroom missing so you would have to get that certificate 
There are a couple of deaths in Nottinghamshire 1851-1861 but not in the right area.

Thanks for your help.

The Will was dated 1876 and Maria's sister Mary had died in 1874.  I had looked on FreeBMD and had ruled out the married names of Smedley and Oxspring (this I did years ago but decided to re-look at this mystery again!)

I had wondered about emigration so will go and see if I can find anything.

The Smedley one is with the other bride and the Oxspring one is the wrong area - Belper and not East Retford.

Have you checked the marriage March 1845 E. Retford.  Robert Barker or Henry Moor.
Don't know if any help.

Just found another in Dec 1848 with a choice of four husbands - John Ellis,William Hempsall, James Smith or George Taylor.

There is also another record which is an addition to the page Dec 1852 E. Retford but as it is an addition there is no name of husband

Another June 1859 but his entry is a bit confusing?

March 1876 E.Retford  Thomas Hindley or John Steels

I ordered the marriage certificate and luckily it was the correct one which shows she married John MacGee - John's Ref No had a different page no to Maria's!
