I have access to the indexes to the Diocese of Carlisle Marriage Licence/Bonds published by the Cumbria Family History Society and Cumbria Archive Service as originally transcribed by R Morris Richardson and Edwin Dobbs in 1911-12 and compiled by Clement Singleton in 1994.

The indexes cover the periods:
end of 1668 to beg 1670
end 1697 to 1762

and provide at best:
- date of licence
- name, parish/township, occupation of groom
- name, parish/township, status of bride
- name, parish/township, occupation of bondsman, relationship to bride or groom
-designated parish for the wedding

I am willing to do specific lookups and very constrained searches.   I need at least a surname.
