Parents of Mary davis(davies)born 1806

Looking for info on Marys Parents Thomas and Ann Davis or Davies.They lived in  Winchelsea.Have found a marriage for a Thomas Davis and Ann Follington at Westham in 1804-could this be them or no. Mary married Levi Barden in Icklesham.According to 1841 census Thomas was a farmer.Many thanks for help as am in Australia

Hi YES it could be them  I hope.This seems to be the only Mary I can find born in 1806 to a Thomas and Ann but have no way of proving it.Will have to try and find a marriage cert for Mary and Levi-hopefully it will say what Ann's maiden name was.

A Mary Davis married a Levi Barden at Pett,East Sussex

19th Nov 1827

Levi was from Icklesham.

Parents names were`nt included in marriage pre 1837.

Registration began in th UK 3q 1837,but only Bride & Grooms Fathers names were included on the Certs.
