HADLAND family of Clattercote

Hi all.

I am after parents and siblings of Charles Edward HADLAND, of Clattercote, Oxfordshire (near Cropredy). Charles was born 15 March 1845. I believe his father was William, and he had a brother named Spencer. Any help on the parents and siblings of Charles would be great!

Hi

The 1851 Census shows father William as a widow... so probably just the 2 boys... Spencer aged 8 and Charles Edward aged 6.

Just checked the 1861 and there are more children...Henry S aged 26,Richard A aged 22 and Mary A aged 20.

I wonder why Charles Edward HADLAND isn't showing in the 1851 census. I found a who's wfo of Cropredy at www.cropredyvillage.info

From it I see William HADLAND married Mary SPENCER, and had 8 children, including:
-Richard Austin (1838-1926) m. Hannah unknown - children William E., Richard & Walter
-Spencer (1842-1910)

There is also a William Spencer HADLAND (1869-1949), publican of the Red Lion. Spencer and Austin are recurring middle names within the Hadland family I am looking at. Charles Edward HADLAND's 3 eldest sons were Charles Edward, Henry Spencer, and William Austin.
