1891 census - Bedford County School, Kempston
« on: Wednesday 13 April 05 09:06 BST (UK) »
Could somebody please look up Roland LEVY in the 1891 census of the Bedford County School?

Roland, my great-uncle, was born in Feb 1881 in Sydenham, Kent.

Many thanks in advance.

Justin

Hi Justin,

Sorry, no Roland Levy at the Bedford County School in 1891. The youngest pupil at the school then was 12:

(Rawlins, Frank Champion 12 Victoria, Australia), most of the pupils are aged 13 up wards.

I don't know if you have seen it but there is a picture and brief description of the school at

Cheers Rob

Thanks Rob.

Now of course that makes sense. A boy of 10 would have been at prep school.

I had seen the picture and brief history, but had forgotten where. Thank you for posting the link.

Rgds,

Justin
