Hello is there SKS who knows the parentage of Thomas Loveless/Lovelace born 1812 Toller Ash or Powerstock 1811.  1861 living Chaldon Herring, 1851 living Beaminster wife Elizabeth. :)

Hi Rhodie,

I see their first child was born ca. 1848, meaning you could find a marriage certificate showing Thomas' father's name.

Any idea about Elizabeth's maiden name? I thought this marriage looked likely:

25 July 1846  Thomas Loveless, bachelor of Owermoigne, son of Thomas Loveless, labourer, and Elizabeth Sturmey, spinster, daughter of Thomas Sturmey, labourer.  Both shown of full age.  Witnesses:  Silas Syms and Martha Puckett.

Parents:  Thomas & Frances Lovelace


Netherbury includes Salway Ash;  not heard of Toller Ash   :-\
