Pharo-Harrington-Stacey Brickmakers England to New York
« on: Wednesday 13 April 05 13:38 BST (UK) »
Looking for William and Charlotte Harrington who emigrated from England to Ransomville, New York around 1870.  He was a master brickmaker who, along with James Stacey and Moses Pharo, was hired by WHH Ransom to work at his brick yard.

I have located Moses Pharo in Surrey County...marriage to Emma Turner in Windsor in 1866 and son James born in Farnham in 1870.  I understand that the Pharos were related somehow to the Harringtons.

Thanks for any and all information you might have to share!

Thanks very much for the info...I had already found them in Wilson, New York, but I can't seem to find William and Charlotte prior to that.  All circumstancial evidence points to Surrey County, but as of yet I've been unable to substantiate this assumption.

Thanks again!!!
