Hi
Think I have found Richard and his mother in 1871, it looks as if the father John had died as Ann is listed as a Widow and seems to be living with her father in law but she is listed as Daughter.

I am related to a Richard John Bevan from Swansea (c.1865), whose wife was named Jane. Their daughter Lily Maud Bevan married my Great Uncle Harry Colbert. Would like to hear from you

Also the Porteymon above should be Port Eynon which is in the Gower.

Regard Jen

Thanks Jen for all your past efforts. All Bevans now traced 8 generations to my grandchildren.  Will send you the tree when ready.
