Marriage Lookup Woodward Payne

Can someone track down marriage between My gg grandfather George E Woodward and I think a maud payne possible stratford and about 1911. Their Children were Peter and Eric

I can't see a marriage for a George Woodward to a Maud Payne. 

Do you know when and where their children were born - there are lots of Peter and Eric Woodward births.  If we could pin down the date & place we could confirm the mother's maiden name.

Have you looked for George on the 1911 census?

Eric woodward was born King's Norton 1923, Peter Ernest Woodward was born in 1929 in Coventry

This is a little bit of assumption I know George Ernest had two sons Eric and Peter, these two are close in age and mother has same surname.

I think there is a 1911 payne woodward marriage but that is quite a gap before having children unless there are other children I don't know about

My mum thinks george's wife was called maud

My mum thought george was from Hull, I haven't tried a census lookup for George Ernest

It might be that you will not find one.....    


My grandpa and his 9 siblings were all registered as  xxxxxx with mother's maiden name  yyyyyy   but my gt. grandparents never married.       Mother shown as  Mrs xxxxxx   ........naughty!
