Looking for parents

Hi There,

I'm looking for the parents of my Great Grandmother Eva Rixon, but I unfortunately can not find them.. All i know is that she was born in 1907 in Holborn, and she died in 1975.. I would be grateful for any advise or help...

Look for the birth certificate of Eva Rixons children.

Or look for the marriage certificate of Eva Rixon.

Write down the names of your grandmother and all her sisters and brothers,  then look at the 1911 census on www.findmypast.co.uk   searching for some of those names who were alive in 1911.

There isn't a 1907 birth in Holborn of an Eva Rixon,but there is a 1904 one?

Where did you get 1907 from? If it was her death cert they are notoriously wrong as the person giving the info may not have known her exact date of birth.

Who did she marry,where and when,do you have that cert........that will say her age at the time and more likely to be correct than a death cert. It should also give her dad's name.

If you think the above birth is correct you can try and find her in 1911 hopefully with her parents.

Theres a death for Eva Rebecca Newell born 7 Dec 1904 died Jan qu 1975 Kettering.Her parents were from Northampton,you could try there on 1911
