Mr Robert Cox of Cundlestown will celebrate his 103rd birthday.
Mr Cox was probably the oldest man in NSW. He was born in County Westmeath
Ireland.
Arriving in NSW  in 1849 by the bargue Mary Banantyne, Mr Cox walked into the Manning and obtained employment at a wage of £17 per year, with Mr Joseph Andrews, Manning River.
Mr Cox bought a farm on Dumaresque Island and lived there for some 35 years.

Are you looking for more information on Cox family in Westmeath?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

There is a Cox tread already but as the Cox I posted might not be the same family, I put them on  another tread.

Robert Cox is my g g g grandfather.
Do you have information about the family before he and his wife (Sarah Dimond from Forgully or Cornamuckla, Longford) came to Australia. I can find cery little. I believe he was born around 1793.
