1871 lookup Willenhall

Could someone please find Mary PROFFIT (b. abt. 1833, Willenhall) who was a widow living in Bloxwich Rd, Willenhall on the 1881 census? I am trying to find out who her husband was.

Hi Julie

The only Mary Proffit I found in that area was born in 1811 in Bilston which is close to Willenhall, she has a husband John Proffit b:1911 Willenhall. They were living in Bliston.

The rest of the household is:
Samuel Deakins...1857...Bliston...son
George w Smith....1870...Bliston...son
Mary W Smith...1852...Bliston....wife
Thomas W Smith....1848....London...son-in-law

Hi

They were living at 5 Bridge St. Smith was an Engine fitter, Deakin a cab driver and John Proffit was somekind of Keeper who employed two assistants, sorry I can't make out the first word.

I checked again for more Mary Proffits in Staffs. but the only other was a one year old living with her parents John and Alice.
