Trying to find out who Elise's parents were... any information might be of help. 


Either

Frederick Charles Woodhouse / Margaret (Maggie) Pieraccini

or

James William Woodhouse / Edith A ?


James and Frederick were brothers.


Elise married Cyril Wood in Luton 1934 Oct/Nov/Dec.

www.Freebmd.org.uk shows her birth and marriage as Elsie, not Elise.

There's an Elsie Woodhouse age 6 living in Luton in 1911 - see www.1901census.co.uk - but I can't see who else was in the household, but there don't seem to be any other Woodhouses. I don't have a subscription, and you'd need to buy the minimum number of credits to view the transcription. However James William Woodhouse 38,  Edith Ann Woodhouse 39 Helen Victoria Woodhouse 12; Sidney Norman Woodhouse 10; and Leila Evelyn Woodhouse 5 were in the same household. Perhaps Elsie was visiting, or even in hospital. I can't see a Frederick Charles nor a Margaret in Luton though.

The obvious way to find out who her parents were is to purchase her birth certificate

I don't know why I seem to always put Elise when it is Elsie, sorry.

The other information you gave me is a great help with the Woodhouse's.  James was apparently a policeman and some information I had received had him with a death in 1907, but this now shows that was not him.  Elsie apparently was living with the Pieraccini's in 1911.  (Which is complicated because no one knows or understands why she went to live with them. James's brother Frederick was married to Margaret Pieraccini and it is Margaret's parents James and Elizabeth Pieraccini, that she went to live with in Luton).  Frederick and Margaret by 1911 had moved to Rugby, Warwickshire.

Thank you John, Ladyhawk and Nettie for the extra information.

The Pieraccini's are my ancestors, my grandmother was Ivy Nellie Pieraccini, however she immigrated out to Australia with her mother and siblings, after her father was KIA in france.  So it has been a little difficult in obtaining information, when not living in the UK.... this site has helped immensely.

Nettie, the information your speaking of, is actually my account on ancestry.com.  Since getting the additional information here, I am happy to revise that, as I do believe that Elsie is James's daughter and not Fredericks. 

The information David you have given here was very valuable and sent me on a trip all over the place looking for information, however thank you to Ladyhawk, I didn't see that Dennis had remarried, so that is a bonus.

How this all started, was I had a picture of a young Elsie Woodhouse in amongst all the other photo's of the Pieraccini's that my great grandmother had kept, but nothing else with it... then as I started doing the family tree, there was Margaret Pieraccini whom had married a Frederick Woohouse, but I couldn't put Maggie as her mother with any documents, then another family member doing the tree, said there is an Elsie on James and Elizabeth Pieraccini's census records for 1911 listed as neice.   Well this threw us out a bit, but now I think we can get this sorted and pieced out.

There is an entry on World Connect for Maggie Pieraccinni, the same person has her on a tree on GRU, they also have your grandmother on thier World Connect (it looks like they live in Australia so they are probably related to you) also another tree on GRU that has Maggie in, the same person also has your grandmother in thier tree.
Then there is another person on World Connect that has an entry for your grandmother.
